Genre: Multicultural Folklore         Age: 4-8 years old

Throughout the book you can see very bright colors mixed with realistic illustrations. In this case the goats, as they are the main characters along with El Chupacabras. For this specific version of this tale El Chupacabras was small and not scary looking, for he helped solve the problem instead of making it worse.

Personal Comment:

I really like this book, as I have heard the this child multiple times ever since I was a child. This story is great to show the children that only because something appears to be scary it won't be all the time. El Chupacabras was the missing piece to the problem they had with the goats; unlike other versions where he harms others he helps in this story.
